  • Are there any learnerships available that I can apply for?

    BANKSETA Learnerships are only available between July and August every year for the following year, they are Letsema for post matric and another one is Kuyasa for post graduates.

  • How do I apply for the BANKSETA learnership?

    Our learnerships are advertised on national newspapers and on BANKSETA website, during that time there will be learnership application forms available on BANKSETA Website for you to download and in all BANKSETA offices

  • What are the requirements for BANKSETA Learnerships?

    Letsema Post-matric Learnership Programme;

    A valid certified copy of a Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum pass of 50% in English AND a minimum pass of 50% in Accounting OR a minimum of 50% in Mathematics OR a minimum of 60% in Maths Literacy

    • Provide a positive recommendation or official testimonial from a previous school, learning institution, or religious institution
    • Present a professional image
    • Currently unemployed
    • Clear credit (ITC) and no criminal record
    • Under the age of 35 as at the start of the learnership
    • Currently not participating in a learnership
    • Persons with a disability must provide a medical certificate confirming the nature of the disability
    • Only South African Citizens in possession of a valid SA ID will be considered
    • Effective communication in written and verbal English
  • I have completed your learnership application forms where can I submit it?

    When looking at the last page of the application form you will see the addresses, Fax numbers and Email addresses where you can send your application forms to,

  • I would like to apply for your learnership as I am currently doing my matric?

    unfortunately you can only apply for the learnership next year because you need your matric certificate to apply

  • I applied for the Letsema learnership and I have not received any feedback so I was following up on my application, when will the applicants be informed as to whether they have successful and unsuccessful?

    when you look on the second page of the application form it state that “if you have NOT been contacted for an interview by the end of November 20.., you should assume that your application was NOT successful”

  • My name is Jabulani I lost my certificate how I get the copy?

  • when does PIVOTAL funding open?

    This is usually open around May or June each year

    Kuyasa Learnership Post-matric  Programme

    A completed three year tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Risk Management,

    Information Technology, Marketing, Financial Accounting, Financial Management or Law

    • A minimum pass rate of 50% is required in the relevant tertiary qualification
    • Provide a positive recommendation or official testimonial from a previous school, learning institution, or religious institution
    • Present a professional image
    • Clear credit (ITC) and no criminal record
    • Under the age of 35 as at the start of the learnership
    • Currently unemployed
    • Currently not participating in a learnership
