The National Skills Authority (NSA) is an advisory body established in terms of Skills Development Act 97 of 1998 (SDA). The primary functions of the NSA are to advise the Minister of Higher Education and Training (DHET) on matters of skills development in accordance with section 5 of the SDA. The NSA will be convening National Annual Skills Development Awards under the theme “Building a demand-led skills development system that focuses on inclusive economic growth”.
