The BANKSETA is aware of fraudulent activity from unknown sources/people impersonating, the organisation executives including the CEO and supply chain employees. Various companies and people have received calls and emails from scammers, using fake names and email addresses and cell phone numbers. 

BANKSETA will not communicate any Supply Chain related matters on phone calls, potential service providers are advised that all such communications will occur on official BANKSETA emails. (Official BANKSETA emails can be identified by being received from example@bankseta.org.za) 

BANKSETA does not solicit payments from potential service providers to influence any outcomes in the Supply Chain process. Should a potential service provider who has submitted a bid be approached by individuals purporting to be from BANKSETA, service providers are advised to make use of the Anti-Fraud mechanisms listed below to report such incidents. Service Providers are also advised not to engage financially with these individuals.
